In New Orleans, CEO Johae Song pitched for Loro and won the Boomer Business Summit Audience Award, a $10,000 prize, and a spot in the global AARP Entrepreneurship Competition. In Fall 2019, Loro will make its grand finale pitch at the AARP Innovation Labs.
Among premier US start-ups, Loro demo'ed our product and use of AI to increase independence and social connection for people with limited mobilities.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of Mary Furlong & Associates (MFA), AARP and Boomer Business Summit that will allow Loro to further fulfill our mission.
Thank you, Mary Furlong, Carrie Shaw, Suman Halthore, Meaghan McMahon, Holly Gierisch, Jacqueline Michelle Baker, Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, National Institute on Aging (NIA), Forbes and all of our judges. Thank you, Mary Furlong & Associates, for organizing this amazing conference and for Halycon mentor Ilyse Veron for recommending us for this grand opportunity.
